This Week in Beer

We had the unique pleasure of talking with Steve Berthel from The Livery in Benton Harbor, MI last night.  We had a great conversation about beers, the Michigan Brewer’s Guild, the economy and the future.  In fact we spoke for so long, we kind forgot it was an interview, so I will be splitting it up into smaller segments.  Here is part 1 of our conversation with Steve Berthel from The Livery.

This week we are changing things up just a little and talking to someone from the distribution side of the business.  The distributor has contracts with a number of different breweries and among other things, keep a stock of those beers on hand to allow for faster deliveries.  Paul sat down with Andy Pavona from Classic Wines to talk beer and beer selling.

Hey everybody, looks like we’re back on track as far as updates go.  This week I tried the Asylum Amber Ale from Sherwood Brewing Company.  It was a little bit hoppy for me but i still found myself enjoying it.  take a look.

I’ve got a new cryptic review for you here, and this beer comes from another great Michigan Brewery.  It is the Special C, a dark Czech lager from The Livery out of Benton Harbor.  Czech it out… heh heh.
