This Week in Beer

So I got a new phone and it says that it can record HD video.  I also got an old bottle of Bourbon County Stout that says it is delicious. Let’s see if these two great tastes taste great together.

This week we welcome back one of our favorite brewers, Steve Berthel from The Livery.  This is our second visit from Steve and as always it is a pleasure to talk with him.  Paul and he had a chance to talk about the brewery business , where his ideas come from, and some of his recent collaborations (including one VERY exciting upcoming collaboration that I won’t ruin here, you’ll just have to watch the video to find out).  So check out our second Interview with Steve and our second interview in our new home in the Temple of Michigan.

We had a real treat recently, we had a visit from Barry Johnson. Barry is the founder, president, and brewmaster of Saugatuck Brewing Company as well as the Mayor of the city of Saugatuck.  Paul talked to him about how he got into the business, his personal philosophy on beer as well as the dynamic of running a brewery as well as a town. zzzzzzz……  zzzzzzz…. zzzzzzz.. WHAT! I’M AWAKE! oh sorry everyone, i must have just nodded off. well, time to put up today’s episode of This Week in Beer. WHAT?!? It is Thursday?! What happened to Wednesday? damn that sucks, I slept at my desk all night. And now I have keyboard face. I have got to stop doing that. Ew, my mouth tastes like, email. Gross. While I go and brush my teeth, you can entertain yourself with this Brewer’s Night interview with Ted Whitney from Avery Brewing Company.  Quite a character that guy.  Enjoy.
